Closet World designs, builds and installs custom closets, garage cabinets, Murphy beds and home offices in Huntington Beach; a designer comes to your home, walks you through the design and gives you a complete in-home estimate and an installation date in as little as 9 days.
Huntington Beach began in 1901 as Pacific City, named by P.A. Stanton's syndicate in the hope of building a West Coast answer to Atlantic City. Henry Huntington's real estate company became its original developer, and the city incorporated in 1909. Its oldest houses are the cottages and Craftsman bungalows near downtown, including the 9th Street area, while most neighbourhoods arrived after 1960 as suburban tracts of homes and apartments. Huntington Harbour followed in the mid-1960s, built around five man-made islands with more than 3,000 private boat slips. Living a few blocks from the sand changes what a house has to hold, and where it ends up.
Across Huntington Beach, much of what people wear folds rather than hangs: shorts, tees, swimwear and sweatshirts. Closets here often work better with less long hang and more shelves and drawers, so the folded side of the layout grows and the hanging side shrinks to fit.
Huntington Beach is part of our Orange County service area, served by Closet World Southern California in Whittier. A designer comes out for a free design visit, measures, plans the layout with you and leaves a complete in-home estimate, with installation in as little as 9 days. Systems are built in our own factory and installed by our own crews, never subcontractors, and most closets and garages are finished in one day. Every system includes a 7+ year warranty.
