Custom Closets & Organizers in North Las Vegas, NV

• Old Town: the original townsite, filled in by dam workers and later by families living off base near the wartime gunnery school. Older houses from the 1930s to the 1950s tend to have a single closet per bedroom and few built-ins, so a fitted reach-in and a hall unit carry most of the load.
• Eldorado: nearly 5,000 single-family homes launched around 1990 on a 1,080-acre site, mostly stucco with red barrel tile roofs in Spanish and Mediterranean styles, from about 1,300 to more than 4,000 square feet. Across that range the smaller plans need a reach-in fitted to the ceiling, while the larger ones can hold a walk-in with a full wall of long hanging.
• Aliante: a master-planned community that held its grand opening in May 2003, starting with about 1,750 single-family homes and including plans from 3,000 square feet, with parks and trails running through it. Larger plans mean larger primary suites and bigger bedrooms, so the closet work moves from fitting a small space to dividing a large one.

Eldorado drew mostly families, and households with children share one pattern wherever they live in the city: the daily handoff of school bags, shoes, sports gear and jackets, usually arriving through the garage door. A drop zone just inside that door, with a cubby and a hook for each person and a bench to sit on, keeps the rest of the house clear, and a bank of garage cabinets takes the gear that stays outside.
