Custom Closets & Organizers in Carlsbad, CA

• Olde Carlsbad: 1930s Spanish Revival houses, midcentury ranch homes and Spanish-style duplexes between the Buena Vista and Agua Hedionda lagoons, where older bedrooms often have single-rod reach-ins, so each one is rebuilt with double hang, a shelf stack and shoe storage sized to its depth.
• La Costa: neighbourhoods laid out from the 1960s around a resort and golf courses, where golf bags, bikes and tools share the garage, so garage cabinets include a tall open bay for bags, wall hooks for bikes and closed cabinets for everything else.
• Aviara: single-family homes built from 1989 in the hills above Batiquitos Lagoon, many with builder-installed rod-and-shelf closets, where primary walk-ins have wall height that goes unused above and below the rod, so the walk-in is rebuilt with stacked hanging, drawers and shelving that use the full height.
• Bressi Ranch: a 585-acre planned community established in 2003 with Mediterranean and Spanish Colonial architecture, where children's bedrooms share a hallway and their closets need to change as the kids get older, so rods and shelves are set on adjustable supports that can be moved up later.

Across Carlsbad, from older ranch homes to newer planned neighbourhoods, the laundry room is often a single shelf over the machines, and beach towels, wetsuits and detergent end up piled around the washer. Wall cabinets above the machines, a folding counter and a slot for the ironing board turn it into a working room.
